Melting point 23℃, boiling point 347℃, density about 0.8 g/cm³, flash point 155℃, slightly soluble in water. This substance has the typical structure of tertiary amines, can react with acids to form corresponding salts, can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis to participate in quaternization and other reactions, and the long carbon chain structure in its molecules makes it soluble in organic solvents to a certain extent, but its solubility in water is low.
